BEING GRACIOUS IN A GRACELESS WORLD. Lesson 60

We must learn to live graciously with others even when they differ to us in taste, attitude, interest and opinion. We must avoid comparing ourselves with others and we should avoid any attempt to manipulate or control others. Gracious people find pleasure in diversity, encourage individuality, and leave room for differences of opinion. Our world is losing an experience of grace – the ability to disagree and love at the same time. As recipients of God's grace, the children of God needs to be a people of grace in a graceless world. When we are engaging with a graceless world, we are meant to be a fragrant perfume. Living as a people of grace in a graceless world means that our aim is to live graciously even when the world hates us. Being gracious is a godly response to irritation.
