To advance into the future full of pleasant testimonies, you must rise above the fear of the unknown. Fear does strange things to us. It turns sound thinking into irrational folly. It can cause us to make destructive choices. It robs us of peace. Fear shuts us off from engaging in God’s calling for our life. Fear makes us inward-focused, isolating us from the world around us and removing us from God's plan. Fear secretly gnaws and eats away at all the ties that bind a person to God and to others. When you know and walk with the one who holds tomorrow in his hands, you will have no fear for the unknown. In life's uncertainties lies God's opportunity. With God, the future is as bright and sure as his promises.
