God desires the best for and from our lives. God shouldn't be an afterthought neither should he receive only our leftover passion. He must take the preeminent place in our lives, if we must attain our utmost best. When we give God our first and our best, not our leftovers, it shows that we trust Him and value Him above all else. If we must give our best to God, it must be all or nothing. It must be the most significant portion. To give God our best, we can’t compartmentalize our lives. The key to having God’s “abundant life” is by keeping Him in His rightful place in our priorities. Life places before us, hundreds of possibilities, but each of us must decide what priority takes first place in our lives. When we give God the prominent place we will attain the place of utmost significance.
