GOD'S MERCY AND GRACE. Lesson 56

When we obtain Mercy and Grace, we receive a double portion of divine help. Everything about God is wonderful, but pardoning mercy is the great wonder of the divine nature. The nature of divine mercy lies in the promptness and readiness of the divine will to succour and relieve the miserable. Mercy is God's love readily shining through the rain of man's dark need. Mercy pleases God in a way judgement does not, it is God's darling attribute. The grace of God is sufficient for all situation and occasion. The source of the sufficiency of God’s grace is ‘his great love’ . God’s grace fills the holes that other things we try to rely on cannot. God's grace is so full, so deep, so high, and so broad that you cannot tell to what extent. His mercy is enriching, his grace boundless and our needs transient.
