GOD'S WORD AND WORLD'S WISDOM. Lesson 40

It's very important that we filter the wisdom of the world through God's word, both by knowing well what the Bible says, and by testing what other people say against it. List of rules from self-help books with their pithy advice and seemingly helpful sayings has been on the rise. When their seemingly helpful and sometimes unhelpful advice on how to live a better, happier, and more productive life are taken through the lens of the word of God, we will discover that all they project focuses more on self rather than  seeking God's wisdom and putting him first. We can acquire vast amount of knowledge but still make the wrong choices in life. It takes God's wisdom to decipher what is constructive, timely and appropriate for the long run.
