A man of understanding sees deeper and desires to know why things happen and why things are the way they are. He or she is a man/woman of deep reflection. Such a man seek depth and sees the bigger picture to issues. A man of understanding respond to issues of life differently from the way others do. They are moved by the need for insight rather than by emotion. He brings more clarity and life to issues. A man of understanding has a teachable heart, eager to learn and willing to adjust where necessary. As we live our lives, we must seek to be men of understanding, men of depth and disciplined emotion. Understanding enables us to have deep insight and foresight, through it we are able to avoid the disasterous road. Understanding is: God-given perception of the nature and meaning of things, resulting in sound judgment and decision-making.
