The drive within us to succeed, lead, and achieve can trip us up,unless we frequently check our motivation and methods.It's not merely what's on the outside that counts, but what is on the inside that leads to what we do on the outside. Our motives matter because God cares more about who we are becoming than what we are achieving.Motives give meaning to our behaviors.One of the best ways to keep our motives pure is to ask God to show us the real reasons we do the things we do.Motives are invisible, but they are the truest test of character.What you plan to accomplish is not as important as your motive and the method you have adopted.Check your motives and methods in the light of scriptural standards.In God's view the end doesn't justify the means, rather the means will be judged in the end.
